What is Built to Last?

On August 1st, 2026, Enterprise and Heels is holding its 3rd annual conference in Jos, Plateau State and this year, we are having the conversation that we believe every woman building a business in Nigeria needs to be in the room for.

Built to Last is centered on three things: sustainability, systems, and structure. Not how to grow fast. How to build something that is still standing in ten years. How to build a business that does not collapse when life happens. How to build a life that can actually carry the business you are trying to create.

We are gathering 300 women - founders, creatives, professionals, and builders - for a full day of keynote addresses, sessions, panels, networking, and community. One room. One day. Conversations that will change how you build from here.

Why Jos?

We get this question a lot and we want to answer it honestly.

Jos is one of Nigeria's most beautiful cities. It is rich in culture, in history, and in the kind of resilience that shapes generations. The women of the Middle Belt are building and dreaming boldly and they deserve a conference that comes to them, not one they have to travel far to reach. Above all, Jos is home.

The city has carried tremendous pain in recent months. We have grieved with the families affected by the attacks in Angwan Rukuba. And we have chosen, through prayer and conviction, to show up anyway. Because pulling back would send the wrong message. And the wrong message is that some cities do not deserve excellence.

Jos deserves excellence. And that is exactly what we are bringing.
